On the Lake Duluti Day trip we will explore Lake Duluti; an old crater that became a lake. The lake is incredibly deep. They say its more than 700m deep, but it’s unconfirmed till today. Lake Duluti is beautifully located between the green, lush forests and lends itself for a great deal of activities. From here you’ll have views on Mt. Meru and sometimes even Mt. Kilimanjaro. It is a paradise for reptiles and birds. Monitor lizards can be seen sunbathing on the edge of the lake and a great variety of birds have made their homes here. Occasionally monkeys can be seen swinging from the treetops on the edge of the lake.
In the morning you guide will pick you from Airport/Hotel get briefing then driving to Lake Duluti. We will stop at the Duluti Forest Club where we can enjoy the beautiful surroundings by start hiking, then continue with canoeing and finish with sport fishing with your professional experienced guide and during lunch time you will decide either to take lunch within or outside the lakes
During the hike you will explore the lake and learn about its interesting history, variety of animals and its flora & fauna.
After all activities you may decide to swim and relax or back to airport /Hotel
